They've pulled it off the shelves, but it's not fixed yet. I don't know why they let them (I can't remember the companies name right now), they don't have a very good track record to begin with. Rocksteady should have just done it themselves. |

I saw that, it's sad that it came to that. This doesn't look good for Rocksteady when finishing a franchise... you'd think they would make sure it was done right instead of letting be released. If all else failed, they should've just delayed the PC port until it was ready. |

This is why I don't buy games on day one of release. It's quite terrible that this has to be. But as we all know, it's not a problem exclusive to PC. I'm speaking in general rather than just about Batman. How many games have we seen on both console and PC that needed major patches from day one? It shows a shocking lack of quality control from certain developers. The problem is that they have way too much pressure put on them by publishers to get the games released by a certain date instead of being given time to make sure the game works properly. By the way even the limited edition set had to be recalled due to a lack of acceptable quality. The one that came with a transforming batmobile. |

I heard about that too... messed up. Yeah, I always wait a few months after the release... the only exception I've made is Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, I never had a problem with it. Yeah, this kind of crap needs to stop... I realize the developers want their money, but it completely backfired this time and could really bit them in the butt too. |

Maybe if PC gamers would stop pirating games developers would be more willing to optimize them properly. Besides developers like Ubisoft and EA who break everything anyway you don't see this on console. On pretty much any torrent site seconds after a game goes up it has thousands of people downloading it. Why should they cater to a community that steals from them? Not that all PC gamers pirate games but a fairly large amount of people do. Not to mention the ones who only buy games on sale. If there's a lot less money to be had due to both those things why would developers put extra time and effort in to PC ports? I feel sorry for the legit PC gamers who actually do pay for stuff but the ones that screw over the industry deserve the frustration. Why reward them with higher quality games? At least now people can get refunds. Or just wait for mods to fix stuff. |

Which is relevant to gaming because? I pirate movies because the cinema is ridiculously expensive, the internet is full of spoilers and it takes a ridiculous amount of time for things to go on DVD thus greatly increasing the chance of being spoilered which totally ruins the experience defeating the whole point of bothering to pay anything. Plus if a movie is good I'll buy it later anyway. So yeah, irrelevant since this is about gaming. Doesn't change the fact that games are easily accessible to people on PC instantly yet they still pirate them. Somewhat understandable if a game won't release in their country but otherwise nope. Not like people have to wait six months or more to download a game once it's released unless restricted it's available right away so what excuse is there? |

If you pirate movies, you're contradicting yourself." It's OK if I steal now, because if I like what I steal, I'll buy it later" The same logic is applied to most people who torrent PC games, they test it out and if they like it, they most likely buy it for the multiplayer. You're telling me if console gamers could torrent games as easily as PC gamers could, they wouldn't? That's a load of bulls*** and you know it. Considering on average a console gamer is younger than his/her PC counterpart, they have even less money at their disposal and would illegally download even more games. I personally don't torrent music, games or software. I use a streaming service for music which I pay $10 a month for which allows me to download songs to my phone so I can use it offline and I use Netflix for movies. I don't play console as much as I used too since I switched to PC about two years ago but I buy everything off Steam as well. Just because some people illegally download games doesn't give a game company a reason to f*** over the entire PC community. I guess movies should stop being released because of that reason too and music, right. |

Game got pulled. Refunds being offered. WB are going to fund further work on this game. PC gamers are being less screwed than when the some other big games have come out in the past, this is a consumer victory and should hopefully be a sign for the future. |

You know this how? And bulls*** who torrents a game like Witcher 3 then buys it later? It's not really safe to torrent multiplayer games anyway since you usually get banned from the game completely once you play online. Just because I pirate movies every now and then doesn't make me wrong. does that somehow change the fact that hundreds of thousands of people pirate games? No. On Isohunt the top torrent for Witcher 3 yesterday had 10,000 seeders, which isn't counting all the people who download and don't seed(which is way higher than the amount of people who seed, always) it also isn't counting all the other torrents with thousands of seeders and downloaders. And then it's also not counting other torrent sites. Easily a few hundred thousand people at bare minimum Witcher 3 has sold 1.3 million(not sure when that statistic was recorded) on PC so if we were to call it 300,000 that's a huge chunk of money, not to mention games cost far much more money than a cinema ticket so initially each person is stealing like thrice as much and then even more if they also pirate the DLC. Tell me that doesn't add up to a lot. And also console players torrenting or not is irrelevant since that doesn't happen much, no denying that it wouldn't but it doesn't so yeah it's PC gamers stealing the most from the industry. |
